When will Neighborhood-Science's K-12 Curriculum be released? |
The Pilot will be released Fall of 2024 for grades K-5. The Middle and High School science curriculum is tentatively scheduled for 2025. |
Will the Curriculum be standards based? |
Yes! All of our curriculum is standards aligned. |
Will the curriculum contain assessments and materials? |
Yes. All curriculum will have assessments, performance tasks and materials. Note that materials will be limited so it is recommended to order early. |
Are the videos available in other languages? |
Yes. Aside from English, the videos will be in multiple language, with the first additional language being Spanish. |
Will the curriculum contain a teacher's guide? |
Yes. All curriculum will contain a teachers guide, step by step instructions and accompanying videos. Very easy to follow and implement. |
What makes Neighborhood-Science different from other science programs? |
Neighborhood-Science is created by a science specialist who has over 20+ years in science and math education. Dr. de Haan has presented internationally and nationally on science instruction and is also the author of "STEM is For Everyone: Strategies for Engaging Multilingual Learners in the K-12 Classroom" due out October, 2024. |
