🐦 Why Do Birds Sing? – STEM Adventure Preview
​In this STEM Adventure, Max listens closely to the world around him and asks a big science question: Why do birds sing?
As Max explores nature, kids will discover that bird songs are more than just beautiful sounds—they’re a way birds communicate, protect their homes, find a mate, and welcome a brand-new day. Through music, movement, and observation, young scientists will learn how animals use sound to share information and survive in their environment. This adventure helps kids build curiosity, practice listening skills, and see how science connects to the everyday world around them.

Center of Gravity for Kids: In this 7 minute video, Dr. d explains the Center of Gravity. What it is and how to find it. Dr. d also shows you how to make 2 great Center of Gravity Toys to amaze your friends and family.
Explanation to Introduction activity:
You can hop backwards because you can use your heels to adjust your body and hence adjust your center of gravity.  Because you are holding your toes, they cannot move and therefore cannot help you adjust your center of gravity to hop forward.
